Narelle hits Melbourne!

Narelle is visiting Design Symphony this week to check out if she want s to become an interior designer. Narelle is a work experience student from Cobden and arrived on Sunday with 25 collegues.

On Monday Narelle and Julie from Design Symphony spent the day at PTA Architecture where Narelle met a few quirky characters...spending the day in the boardroom working on an apartment scheme.

At 9am (ish) Tuesday Narelle and friends, Larissa and Nicole, stormed the BBI reception eager for another day's tasks. Narelle helped Julie frame artworks and chatted about the design industry. We had lots of curious visitors. Narelle and the girls are off to the casino tonight to see The Dark Knight.

CONGRATULATIONS PTA Architecture Dulux Colour Awards Finalist

Julie Skuja from Design Symphony provided interior design services to PTA Architecture on their Saltwater Mental Health Clinic project in Footscray, Melbourne. The project, completed in late 2007, was submitted to the Dulux Colour Awards Panel and has just been announced as a finalist!

Finalists are judged on their use of colour and it's application to architectural and interior elements. Julie's colour scheme and interior design was developed in close collaboration with the project architect Elisabeth Robertson from PTA Architecture.

Colour Consultations - Interior & Exterior

Why consider a colour consultation?
Whether selling or buying a property it is important to stop and consider how much colour impacts on the way we perceive and respond to a space. If you have just purchased a property a change in colour scheme will also allow you to express your colour personality and compliment your furnishings. What is included in a standard colour consultation?
For each project a tailored colour solution is developed and a standard consultation includes:

- a 1hr visit on site with daytime or evening appointments available
- access to a range of fandecks, colour charts & large format colour samples (where available from suppliers)
- several options will be offered for main, trim and one feature colour (Interior or Exterior)
- a detail colour schedule for your reference, or issue to your painter


How much will a consultation cost me?
A standard colour consultation will suit most projects and costs only $198 (incl GST)
- additional feature colours can be provided at $44 per colour (incl GST)
- additional site visits can be arranged at $88 per hour (incl GST)
